The hotel was very comfortable and recently renovated so very fresh and modern. The breakfast and dinner were both delicious.

We arrived down from Dublin airport after a delayed flight as the restaurant was closing - the receptionist Savio (?) voluntarily went and asked the kitchen staff if they would delay finishing so we could be served, they did and we were able to enjoy a great meal. Johnny the waiter was also very helpful and obliging, The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The mattress and pillows were also very comfortable. There was an extensive selection at breakfast to choose from with good coffee. Checkout was quick and friendly. Wonderful staff and a comfortable stay.

I love the Hoban house, it’s a beautiful hotel, the location is good, the rooms are nice, the shower facilities are excellent, the food is very good… for a large hotel there was no noise at night which was excellent…

Very clean and comfortable rooms. A very modern and well kept hotel. Excellent value. Located within an industrial park so lots of parking and close to the centre of town.

Excellent hotel, clean and modern set just outside of Kilkenny centre. Although the hotel was busy during our stay, our ground floor room was nice and quiet and we weren’t disturbed by noise from other guests. The rooms were very spacious even with a travel cot up. Staff were pleasant and accommodating with our child. Would highly recommend and definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself was very nice. Staff was extremely helpful. They let us know about all the activities that were going on in town the weekend we were there(it just happened to be Kilkenny Culture weekend). They also made sure we knew there was a Kilkenny sitting app. They made sure we had no problem getting into town.

The staff at the hotel couldn’t of been any nicer. I arrived 3 hours before check in and our rooms were ready which was so ideal for us as we were a large group travelling with a good bit of luggage. When we got back from being out that night the man that was on the bar was so lovely to us he even brought us over plates of crisps to have with our drinks.

The vibe we got from the minute we walked into the hotel.The staff are lovely & very friendly & well trained too you can see that aswell. The beds were comfy,shower was amazing breakfast was lovely aswell,probably the only thing I'd say that was a little bit disappointing was not having a swimming pool or jacuzzi etc apart from that everything else was excellent. I'd definitely recommend someone to stay there aswell.
